Wabash College's 12th Day of Giving, themed hashtag#SingThyPraises, needed refreshed to engage both students on-campus and younger alumni digitally. I took what was already a great Day of Giving campaign and elevated it by:
- Redesigning the Ambassador Toolkit, a packet with graphics, photos, copy templates, and various merchandise that empowers alumni to promote the Day digitally and in-person all around the country
- Managing a plush Squirrel Scavenger Hunt tied to philanthropic spots on campus, increasing our follower account by 85 students
- Organizing a Live Music Showcase featuring student bands
- Creating an Instagram Reel featuring clips of students and alumni across all career stages singing the school fight song -- increasing account reach by 525% month over month
- Designing themed print, social, and email promotional pieces and related merchandise
- Hosting an all-campus luncheon with branded giveaways, fraternity competitions, and other games
- Partnering with Freckles Graphics, Inc and Animal Welfare League on “Hats and DoG” — a DIY hat bar paired with the opportunity to pet shelter dogs
- Rounding out the day with a Pajama Jam pizza and popcorn bar in the library
The 2025 Day of GIving received record-breaking dollars raised and student engagement, and four members of my team reached out to me individually to share how my contributions elevated the Day to a new level.
