Butler Alpha Phi New Member Education Events

As Butler Alpha Phi Director of Sisterhood, I worked with our VP of Member Education to coordinate programming for the 2019 pledge class of 53 women.

Events preceding initiation included weekly new member education meetings, bonding events with each pledge class (including an ice cream social, popcorn speed dating, and a tour of all the seniors' houses), and "dates" with potential "big" sisters. 

The week of initiation, we planned multiple ceremonies. To end the new member education process, we hosted a celebratory banquet. It was my responsibility to coordinate with a photographer, catering company, and alumna.

The new member programming strategy won a Greek Excellence Award from my university.
